Toni Oluwehinmi

Toni Oluwehinmi (C ‘29) is a freshman from Northern Virginia. She plans to pursue biology on the pre-med track. In whatever Toni pursues, whether it be medicine or her other interests in neuroscience and history, she aims to take her knowledge outside of the classroom through community involvement. This had led her to organize several clothing and hygiene drives for her high school’s Black Student Union, volunteer at her local hospital for 3 years, and intern in efferocytosis research at the University of Virginia. Her passion for community and the health sciences had also led her to be interested in bioethics. Outside of the journal, she writes for the Penn Healthcare Review and loves going thrifting, watching movies, and using new restaurants as an excuse to leave campus.
